Ethiopia: Ethiopia’s Inflation Surges to 15.3% As Sugar, Coffee Prices Soar

[Addis Standard] Addis Abeba -- Ethiopia's annual inflation rate accelerated to 15.3 percent in July 2026, up from 13.9 percent in June and 13.7 percent a year earlier, as food and non-food prices both recorded renewed increases, according to the latest bulletin from the Ethiopian Statistical Service (ESS).
