Closely monitor activities of foreign powers in Bangladesh: Parliamentary panel to Centre

New Delhi, Jul 30 (PTI) Expressing concern over “increasing Chinese footprint” in Bangladesh, particularly in infrastructure development, a parliamentary panel has recommended the government to closely monitor the activities of foreign powers in that country, considering that any attempt by “unfriendly countries” to establish a military foothold there would pose serious security risks for India.
