Ghana: Public Expenditure Goes Electronic Effective Jan. 2026

[Ghanaian Times] Effective January 2026, the Comptroller and Accountant-General will cease issuing manual cheques as all public expenditures will be processed through the Ghana Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS), Deputy Finance Minister, Mr. Thomas Nyarko Ampem, has announced.
