Namibia: Rising Fuel Can Flame Inflation

[New Era] Figures from the mines and energy ministry show that during March 2024, global petrol prices increased by 2.7% while international prices for diesel 50ppm decreased by 2.64% ,and diesel 10ppm decreased by 2.46%. On top of this, the exchange rate figures for 1 to 25 March indicated a 0.93% appreciation of the Namibia dollar against the United States dollar.
