Liberia: Liberia to Connect to Second Submarine Fiber Optic Cable With Support From the World Bank

[FrontPageAfrica] Liberia will soon connect to a second submarine fiber optic cable to boost its broadband capabilities. The initiative is expected to be supported by the World Bank under the West Africa Regional Digital Integration Project - Project Series 2 (WARDIP-SOP2). A delegation from the Bretton Woods Institution recently led a technical assessment mission of the telecommunications sector and the country's overall digital environment.
