Youth leaders participate in forum with President Obama

Luanda - At least 120 youth leaders of the civil society and the private sector, representing over 40 southern African countries will participate on 3-5 August, with US counterparts, in a forum with President Barack Obama, in recognition of the extraordinary youth demographic profile in the region.

 

According to a press release that ANGOOP had access to, “President Obama will host a meeting at White House with these youth leaders, aimed at discussing their vision for a transformation of their societies in the next 50 years”.

 

With that meeting, the government of the United States of America intends to encourage the creation of a network between young Americans and Africans, as well as durable partnership in the name of security and prosperity to evaluate better forms of helping the aspirations of African growth.
